Ashley D. Ross

Assistant Professor of Political Science

Ashley Dyan Ross holds a B.A. in both Political Science and Speech Communications from Texas A&M University, a M.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Ross studies comparative politics and public policy. She teaches courses in Comparative Politics, Latin American Governments, and Political Analysis.

Dr. Ross has worked on research projects examining education policy in the U.S., public services in the developing world, and environmental policy in Costa Rica. Her current research focuses on community resiliency of the Gulf Coast States as related to natural and environmental disasters.
