Jose H. Guardiola is an Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He earned a Bachelor in Science in Civil Engineering from the UNIVERSIDAD AUTONOMA DE CHIHUAHUA, a Master of Engineering from the UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO, a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems from the INSTITUTO TECNOLOGICO DE MONTERREY, a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Statistics, both from BAYLOR UNIVERSITY.

Currently Dr. Guardiola's research focuses on Circular Statistics, Bayesian analysis and Spatial Statistics. He is also active on applied research in different disciplines working collaboratively with colleagues on Medicine, Economics and Marine Research.

Dr. Guardiola joined the faculty of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in 2004, he contributed to the development and implementation of new statistical courses currently offered at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

Dr. Guardiola has been happily married to Patricia Guardiola since 1991. They are raising three kids who are currently enjoying residing in Portland.
