Conference Proposal

Below is a call for proposals for our class conference. Write a proposal based on your writing project in response to it.

TAMU-CC Graduate Student Professional Writing Symposium
April 24, May 1, and May 8, 2008

Call for Papers: The TAMU-CC Graduate Student Professional Writing Syposium is a showcase of the best research and writing in progress by TAMU-CC graduate students. Our Symposium offers graduate students the opportunity to present their work and participate in discussion and feedback workshops with fellow graduate students. We invite presentations from all fields.

Submit proposals of not more than 250 words to Dr. Catherine Quick (catherine.quick@tamucc.edu) by the deadline below. In addition to your abstract, please include your name, department, e-mail address, and a title for your presentation. Presentations will be approximately 12-15 minutes each.

Deadline: 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2008
